The digital library of the Public Library "Hristo Botev" in Bosilegrad represents a modern way of preserving, protecting and making available the cultural and documentary heritage of our region. Its main goal is to provide users with easy access to valuable library and archival materials, without time and space restrictions.The digital library contains digitized books, periodicals, manuscripts, photographs, as well as other materials of importance for studying the history, culture and traditions of Bosilegrad and the wider region. Special emphasis is placed on the local collection, which includes publications and documents that testify to the life and development of the local community.The digitization of library materials is carried out in accordance with modern standards, with the aim of long-term protection of the originals and their availability to the general public - researchers, students, pupils, but also all interested citizens.Users can search the digital library according to various criteria, browse the contents and use the material in accordance with applicable rules and copyrights. In this way, the library becomes an open and accessible information center, which connects tradition and modern technologies.The development of the digital library is a continuous process. The collection is regularly supplemented with new digitized units, and the technical and functional capabilities of the system are improved in accordance with the needs of users and the development of information technologies.The digital library represents an important step towards the modernization of library services and the preservation of cultural identity, with a clear mission - to make knowledge and heritage accessible to everyone.

The digital library is built on the ResCarta platform, which is based on open-source software and enables modern management of digital collections. All digital documents are integrated with metadata and can be searched through an intuitive and precise search system.
Keyword search: enter authors, titles, subjects, or publication years. Full-text search: enables searching within the text using Boolean operators.
